I really like the layout of two of the three 9s at this course, and the course maintenance is really well done. However, I no longer regularly golf there because the pace of play is consistently terrible, they do not manage play on the course and as a result, my last three rounds have been at or longer than 5 hours. Three years ago, I had to leave the course after the 15th hole because I was at 4:45 minutes. I stopped going to the course. A year later, I played a round to see if it improved...it had not. 5 hours. Last year, I came on a late fall day to check again. No improvement. Played today, 2:28 for the front nine, quit after 4 holes on the back took over an hour and I had a ten minute wait on the tee box of the fifth hole. Rangers do nothing. The course just crams people on and shrugs it's shoulders at the terrible pace. I'll check back in a year or so.
Update:. Played nine holes on Canyon. Or tried. Two holes converted to unplayable par threes. Course condition is terrible. Next week, played Links nine. Two holes out of play (set as unplayable par threes). General fairway conditions and conditions around the green are terrible. Deep seams around the green in the fringe, large bald patches in the fairway. No warning when you pay that the course is missing holes....
Read moreGroup of four and went early in the morning 6.45am during the Week on a Wednesday for 9 holes. We tee’d off 15min late because we wanted to buy water and the concession stand worker wasn’t there. Once we started the Marshals started berating us, following us in their cart and reminding us every 5min that we were behind on schedule and called us terrible golfers. Mind the fact we had to wait at the tee off on every hole because the group in front of us was 50 yards down the fairway. Despicable behavior from the Marshals and completely unacceptable. They even mentioned to us that we didn’t pay for four people despite the fact that we did and they were just blatantly wrong. Confirmed with the front desk afterwards that we in fact did pay for all of us. Frankly they were just bullying us and finding excuses to get us to leave. They told us the group behind us called in to complain about us slowing down the pace but we spoke with that group after we finished and they told us they did no such thing. I’ve golfed for over 10years in my life and never experienced behavior like this. Would give zero stars if I could. Never coming back here again ever. If you want to lose your passion for Golf I recommend you to come here.

Read moreThe course itself is excellent. However, there is a severe lack of common sense and courtesy at the pro shop. I've had 3 different conversations at both the pro shop and the golf ball shack that really irritated me.
Most recently, I booked a tee time and called the day before to confirm that everything is okay because of the recent snow 4 days prior. The employee told me that the entire course is closed on the day that I called as well as the next day (when me and 3 other friends were supposed to play.)
When I asked why I had not been notified via call, text, or email, she told me, "Well we don't know what's going to happen hour by hour."
What do you mean!? You've already pre-determined that the course is closed. What if I had to travel to get there? They literally planned on waiting till we showed up before letting me know.
Then I asked why I haven't gotten my 300 dollar deposit back yet. She told me the deposit goes back out on the day of the reservation if it gets canceled. Well.... 5 days later I had to call and ask where my money was and the guy I talked to had to cancel it during the phone conversation. Now... I won't get the money until 4 or 5 days from today's conversation! The lack of consideration here is ridiculous. Get it...
