i went to city hall to the parks and recreation department and they rude i was trying to cancel my enrollment in a class i thought was gonna be cancelled and i wanted to do it before the class started so i could get a refund and the big old man and big lady there talk to me like i was a kid and it felt like i was being bullied and intimidated into staying...

The fantastic Antelope Valley Audubon Society meets here for programs. Always attend those presentations and engagements. The staff at the place is amazingly friendly. And it is a beautiful place to catch a bit of a respite from the city and the constant noise. It's a bit more faint at this preserve. A wonderful local community...

This is a hidden gem in our own backyard....After visiting here, you will appreciate the AV more...The desert is such a beautiful place, every season has it's own climate. From being a 110' n summer to 20' n winter an walking threw this preserve each of the 4 seasons your able to see each seasons own climate... Enjoy it , me...
