Love this mall and I understand that traffic is gonna be bad on the days closer to the holidays but IT SHOULD NOT TAKE OVER AN 1 HR AND 30 MIN TO LEAVE THE PARKING LOT. We saw many of the exits being closed off leading only to 2 open exits, it’s simply not logistical as to why that decision was made to close off the exits and create massive roadblocks leading to over an hour wait of just getting out of the parking lot. Stop blocking exits and creating unnecessary traffic within parking spaces. After 40 min of initially trying to get out of the parking lot I needed to use the bathroom and I successfully left towards the bathroom in the food court from the car which was stuck within the traffic next to the home store next to Costco and I was able to come back from the bathroom towards car being in the same area not even 5 feet apart from when I departed and the line to the bathroom was also long too, so I had to wait about 10 min to use the restroom and get to the car, that whole side journey was about 35 min of me leaving the car with my family in it still waiting to get out of the mall and I came back 35 min later and they were still in the same place. It was 2:02 when we started to leave and we officially got on to the main road at 3:40pm. Stop blocking exits and creating unnecessary traffic within...
Read moreTampa Premium Outlets looks promising at first, with its attractive layout and wide variety of stores, but it quickly falls short of expectations. The biggest issue is the lack of quality products. Despite the large selection of brand-name stores, finding anything worth purchasing is surprisingly difficult. Most items seem outdated or overpriced, especially considering that this is supposed to be an outlet mall with discounted goods. It's disappointing to walk into multiple stores and leave empty-handed.
On top of that, the outdoor setup makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience, especially in the Florida heat. There’s little shade or relief from the sun, making it nearly unbearable to shop for long periods. Even though there are places to sit or grab a drink, they don’t do much to help the overwhelming heat. It's hard to enjoy browsing when you're sweating the entire time.
Overall, Tampa Premium Outlets may look appealing from the outside, but it doesn’t deliver when it comes to quality shopping or a comfortable experience. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you happen to be in the area and can tolerate the heat for a mediocre...
Read moreTampa Bay needed another outlet mall. As much as I love the Ellenton Outlet Mall south of Tampa is wonderful, but it is becoming a tad bit run down.
This mall is new and fresh, and being new and fresh has its positives and negatives.
The good news is that this mall is beautiful. I love the center courtyard area with the chairs to sit and relax in the sun while the ladies shop. The food court is much better than average, and the store selections are great.
The bad news is that many of the stores were not yet open when I was there. You can tell they are coming, but they were still completing them. It is also a VERY confusing mall to find. The exit off of I-75 winds you around and around until you can find it. Once in the parking lot, it is very confusing getting out!
TIP: If your looking for new luggage (as I was), you will find many stores selling the latest and greatest luggage. I was able to buy a full set of the hard sided luggage I had been wanting for the same cost that ONE suitcase would cost me anywhere else. I...
