Great place for walking or running and it is very well lit. The trail that cuts through the middle of the park is beautiful. It has plenty of benches and trash cans. The pond there is surrounded by benches on one side. The trees provide plenty of shade during the day. The track is exactly one mile around, not counting the middle track/trail. You can also walk around the grass area/fields if they're not too muddy from recent rains. The Krezia L. Memorial Garden is also located in this park. The garden is peacefu and quiet, a wonderful place to just sit and contemplate. There's no clear path to the garden or signs that I have seen, but I always go off trail and followed a dirt path when I came across it. It may be easy to see from the track during the day, but I tend to go at dusk and cannot see the...

Large park with great trails through the woods. Some are even paved. There is also a nice 2 story playground with multiple slides. Clean restrooms, baseball fields, football fields , covered basketball court, large parking lot, exercise equipment and drinking fountains. There is even a snack stand open during certain game times. The parking lot can get packed when the schools have their football games. Even the streets become impassable. There is a water fountain park, but it hasn't been working in...

It was a very professional setting/environment. But during the World Series game tonight, we were sent from Anna field to Slaughter Park because someone forgot to make arrangements to leave the lights on, or so the announcer stated. So our Laredo Marucci team was transported by parents and the Dominicana team was bused over to Slaughter Park. We got started late at 9:15. Needless to say before the 5th inning was completed, the lights were shut down, not giving our Latedo team time to come...

The park is huge but the parking lot isn't Alos there's so much dirt flying around The restrooms were super filthy It's is south Laredo and I live in North Laredo so it's a long drive to see a half hour game. The flag football game I went to see was delayed because some of the lights didn't work and it was already dark so it was hard to see the game
