My husband purchased a $2,700 radio system for his truck and they installed it incorrectly. They never called him that day to tell him the installation was complete. We waited by the phone until late and nothing. We decided to drive to Cindy’s and to our surprise the business was closed for the day. Their reasoning for not contacting him is that they didn’t have his cell number (apparently the sales lady didn’t communicate the number to the installer and just went home). That bad customer service was a sign of things to come. The sound was awful and even worse it was glitchy. It would turn off when the windshield wipers were used. The driver door would not open anymore the day we picked up the truck, he fixed it himself though (he purchased the part). They did replace the radio (done by a different installer at Cindy’s ) and we thought everything was good until he saw that the rear camera (which was part of the radio purchase) is backwards. Don't take your car to get a system installed. They will charge for every little tiny thing. Need a connector? They charge you. Do you want the subs placed inside the box? They will charge you. Want the stereo mic that is included in the stereo itself? They will charge you. Just include the extra things in the installation cost already. One things turns into 10 or 15 individual charges that add up. Also, don't fall for their finance it's a scam. You guys do not finance, you lease-to-own. Stop saying you finance because you don't. A $1000 system will turn into $2,500 easily if you don't read the fine print.
