This is a nice place to visit to see the views of Lake Lawtonka and Medicine Park. If you find yourself there without many other people, it can be very peaceful. There is a decent parking lot at the east end of the dam. There are trails on the west end of the dam you can hike or get closer to the water. I recommend going here if you are into the sites or just need a break from reality.

One of the largest dams in Comanche County, Oklahoma, especially feeling the breeze going across the bridge of the dam as well. I recommend seeing the stars at night here on a clear night

Lake lawtonka dam and medicine park are both near one another and are among my favorite places I've ever visited in my life its beautiful and offers a wide variety of wild life and diverse scenery and you can enjoy live music and great food and a cold beer, and head right back out into the wild...

Great place for swimming and fishing ( especially down by the dam) small bait shop past the dam. Can be a little tricky if you want to shore fish and have children to get to a good spot not surrounded by swimmers and campers. Very beautiful right next to medicine park and wonderful...
