Lake Lawtonka Dam — Attraction in Lawton

This is a nice place to visit to see the views of Lake Lawtonka and Medicine Park. If you find yourself there without many other people, it can be very peaceful. There is a decent parking lot at the east end of the dam. There are trails on the west end of the dam you can hike or get closer to the water. I recommend going here if you are into the sites or just need a break...

Great place for swimming and fishing ( especially down by the dam) small bait shop past the dam. Can be a little tricky if you want to shore fish and have children to get to a good spot not surrounded by swimmers and campers. Very beautiful right next to medicine park and wonderful...
