Twin lakes is located just south of Leadville about two hours and thirty minutes outside of Denver Colorado. Twin lakes is a great place to camp hike or spend time on the water. With dispersed campsites and lots of areas to camp around the lake this place is one of my favorite places to camp, but make sure to come early in the weekend because camp sites are first come first serve and since this place is so beautiful camp sites do fill up quick. One thing to keep in mind when coming to twin lakes is the altitude, with the lakes being in the mountains the water is cold.
