I like Boston Lot and it's definitely my go to for some nature rx while in town. There is a deceiving incline enough to wind someone (this office worker) who doesn't excersise moderately while rewarding them with a beautiful pond view at the top. You can continue around the pond in a loop trail that is pretty easy but know its dirt with lots of roots and only occoasional an bridge/wooden planks so not handicap or stroller friendly. It does has an added bonus of the parking lot serving as a picnic spot or place to stare off into the river and top side of the dam. Lots of birding and fishing opportunities (just give the loon(s) space!). Sometimes there's a nest pair of eagles or visible osprey.
Cons: no (or not visible) enforcement of rules so expect trash in the parking lots, lots of people with dogs offleash, and some issues with mountain bikers not respecting the non-bikable trail signs which leaves nice muddy ruts...
