I wish I could post a review about the tour but I didn't get to go on it. They wouldn't let me take my service dog on the tour. I was disappointed but didn't make a fuss about that even though I could have. I understand not everyone likes dogs or wants dogs around. However, I'm very upset that they wouldn't refund my money. Their policy on refunds is only if the tour is cancelled 48 hours prior to the tour. Their website doesn't say anything about dogs not being allowed. Since I was nice and didn't insist on my rights, they could've been nice and given me...

Very nice behind the scenes tour of what makes bourbon what it is. Fascinating to learn about the various ways a barrel can influence the flavor. I understand the need to prohibit photography but would love to have a chance to buy a few stock, non-proprietary photos to document our visit. The photo spot at the end of the tour for a group photos is a nice touch. I'm embarrassed to not remember our guide's name but he was great, as were the individual workers who demonstrated their part of the...

I can't recommend this tour highly enough! My husband and I spent a week on the Bourbon Trail, and this was by far the most unique, educational, and fun tour we went on! (It was hands-down my favorite.) If you are a fan of Bourbon and "How It's Made," this is a must-do. Our tour guide Pat was wonderful, and we got to see the whole process from lumber to finished barrel ready to ship.

Just an FYI, they require closed-toed shoes on the tour, so make sure to pack...

I’ve been on a ton of distillery tours hearing about the barrels they use, but they don’t do it Justice. This tour really gives you a lot more insight into what goes into a barrel. Tour guide was very informative and could answer all questions except how many barrels are made in a day. They provide headsets so you can easily hear the tour guide throughout the tour and they have demos for the groups. No photos allowed inside the working facility and no open toed shoes

We heard about this place from our tour at Maker's Mark and let me tell you, what an awesome time we had. You start at the visitors center with an explanation and then you jump into their shuttle bus. There's no pictures allowed on the tour. Inside you get to see firsthand how the whole process is done. The demonstration of replacing damaged wood was fascinating. Well worth the price for a great insight.

Great tour. Very informative and interactive. Going into the plant to see where the magic happens was cool. The cooper's were very accommodating in giving us a live demonstration on how the barrels are made. You will get a lesson on how a barrel is raised from tree selection to completion. If you are into the bourbon trail, you need to add this place to your list of stops to make.
