Ledyard Parks & Recreation — Attraction in Ledyard

I only give one star because I have to. Ledyard Parks and Rec must be paid by midnight on Thursday the week prior to attending. NO exceptions. NO accommodations. No means no. It’s not a bad policy but too rigid. It seems very impersonal for such “small town” claims. With almost 10 years residing in Ledyard and investing into these programs for my family, I’m left feeling disheartened. I accept responsibility for missing the deadline. It’s my child who cannot attend for the week. I need to find daycare and pay the fees so I can work. Lesson learned. I can only do so much but maybe a policy change is in order or offer some grace for the families utilizing these services...
