I launch my boat here at least once a week. The ramps are always in great shape. They try to keep them from getting slick by buffing them. It works and they put a lot of upkeep into the place. Launch fee is 16 dollars on weekends and 12 dollars on weekdays but I buy the season pass for 170 dollars. Well worth it. Theres a ton of parking for big boats and trailers. On holiday weekends though the lot will fill up by 10 or 11 am so get there early. Met the manager there and hes a stand up guy. Theres a fish cleaning station, fresh water wash-down for your boat. Bring your own hose. And plenty of garbage cans for everything. I have come in past midnight many times and there is always someone in a truck for security there. They find me 98 percent of the time and follow me out to let me out the locked front gate. Why they bother to lock it at all I dont know. Its super nice its 24 hours for coming back from the ocean though. I have never been locked in despite being out that late over 50 times. Just make sure if your planning on launching at 1-4 am to realize you wont be able to get in. Im not sure what time it opens in the morning either but it must be pretty early. I would guess 5 am? There is a parking fee required and the front booth is permanently closed. It used to cause big backups in the morning so Im glad its gone. You have to use one of the self service stations to pay with cash or card. You need to know your Plate number in order to use it so take a picture of it before you walk all the way over to the little station. It looks like a bit like an ATM. They will ticket you and put a boot on your trailer if you dont pay it. Once you pay it they will remove the boot. Or they just ticket you for a regular car. I have seen the boot on other trailers but never had it done on mine since I pay for the yearly pass. I have never had anything stolen out of my car either so overall I feel really good here because of the 24 hour security truck thats around. It might not look like it but theres someone there really paying attention and running...

Located in a tranquil and picturesque corner of Homestead, the Bayfront Park is an ideal getaway for anyone seeking a beach experience that seamlessly combines fun and safety. The park boasts a serene beach and a convenient boat launching ramp, making it a top choice for families with children and for those looking to unwind and take a refreshing dip in the saltwater lagoon.

This well-maintained lagoon, complete with lifeguards on duty, provides a very controlled and secure environment, especially for children. A highlight of the park is its lively tiki bar, offering a selection of refreshing beverages to enjoy under the Florida sun, catering not only to the younger guests but also the 'big kids' among us.

In addition to these features, Homestead Bayfront Park offers amenities such as showers and picnic tables, along with BBQ stands perfect for a family cookout. It's worth noting that while the park doesn't provide direct access to the ocean, it still delivers a unique beach experience within a somewhat more controlled setting.

Ample parking is available on-site, with payments made conveniently via a phone app. The fees are reasonable and the lot is well-lit and secure. For your convenience, the park houses a small restaurant that serves a variety of meals and refreshments. Additionally, while the WiFi connectivity can be intermittent, it's a handy feature when it's working.

For the youngest visitors, a kids' play area is available, ensuring they, too, have an enjoyable time. There are also several covered areas where you can set up for the day and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. All in all, the Homestead Bayfront Park offers an enjoyable, safe, and controlled beach experience that caters to...

such a nice spot to spend the day. unfortunately the beach was closed (Monday) and it’s an inconvenience that I called hours before going and they told me it was open until sunset but didn’t mention the beach was closed since lifeguards leave at 5:30. We stayed either way because the kids were playing in the sand and we had brought food over. We decided to move a picnic table since there were a lot of flies and ants on our food and a young cuban male life guard came over and told us we couldn’t move the tables, I let him know we were just eating and we would move it back as soon as we were done and he was fine with it. as soon as he walked away another young female life guard spoke over a speaker phone and said “you need to move the table back” and they began laughing out loud. we continued eating because the man said it was fine. they then walked up to us and the girl told us we had to move, I told her the guy said it was fine for us to move the table after and he then said no that we needed to move the table. he said there were “rules” and I asked him to show me where it said we couldn’t move a table, of course he stayed quiet after because there’s NO signs stating tables couldn’t be moved. they threatened to call rangers and security on us but backed off once they realized they were in the wrong. we finished eating, moved the table back like we said we would and left. so unfortunate the beach is closed and the life guards are so rude. I don’t know if I’ll be back, I’d rather drive 45 minutes to...

Nice place for a family outing. There's a restaurant, La Playa Grill, a beach, and last but not least the marina. The boat ramps are the center of the park, well tended with plenty of functional ramps with upgraded floating piers. Nice fish cleaning stations accommodating two at a tine. The restrooms are functional but could use an upgrade. For God sake, it's the 2023. Using it is like slipping back in time 50 yrs. Wet slips are available if you don't like the hassle of trailering your boats. There's a kiosk now. Download the app, pay & you're done. The old collection hut toward the entrance is not necessary anymore, just creating a bottleneck on crowded days. The restaurant is average, serving ice cold beers. The beach is not much, more like a kiddie pool but clean and appears to have life guard stations. Its your direct view sitting outside the restaurant. Be careful if you come in from boating after dark. They lock the gates but are usually good about opening it... usually. Don’t forget Dante Fascell Park next door. It's free! Excellent nature walk, kayak, picnic, pooch friendly with designated fishing areas and bbq stands. Just bring your charcoal & meat. Trek the one walkway to the end and you’ll be rewarded with excellent views. Dante side has much nicer bathrooms, upgraded with AC, yes I said it, AC. And they're still upgrading sections of the boardwalk. It's going to be great.
