Everyone at this walgreens has always been very nice but I came across a very rude lady named Esta or Ezra. I forgot how to spell her name. She was a cashier who was working 1/9/19 around 3 in the afternoon. I only post reviews when an interaction is really terrible.. she was beyond rude. I wanted to exchange a children's jewelry box that I spent good money on and broke before I could even give it to my daughter for her birthday. The lady sat there looking at me like I was doing something wrong by asking for an exchange. She then told me I wasent allowed to exchange the item because I didnt have a receipt, even though I had the credit card I purchased it on. She handed me back the jewelry box and she had written on it in marker already! (I had left it at the front while I did some shopping) I was very upset she refused to exchange it but already wrote on it. When I pointed it out she spat on her hand and half way wiped away the numbers she had written on there. She then proceeded to check out the two large bags of Epsom salt I was purchasing while making a point to slam them on the counter very aggressively and loudly while bagging them and looking at me like she was about to jump over the counter. Honestly, how the hell does this lady work in customer service. I will NEVER EVER give my money to this Walgreens again. Shame for them I spend over $100 a...
Read moreIt was quiet but everyone seemed depressed there. The candy was on sale two for $2.00 or half price. It should stay that way because it's a $1.25 at most in the dollar stores. I never did see any pharmacist orTech in sight, so there will be no medicine today everyone. None of the employees were asking how they could help me find what I was shopping for. The photo counter employee just did the bare necessity, just enough to fing me up and cash me out, but didn't sound interested in work or customer service at all. At least they have open restroom there. It's in a nice convenient location for South St. Louis and Oakville/Lemay/South County customers. If I was manager I'd stress the importance of making the customers happy. After all, the customer, is the MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN ANY BUSINESS. They still card customers who are buying tobacco products here, even if they're 90 years old! What happened to the Good ol' days if the neighborhood pharmacy that had soda pop, ice cream, and Coke plus service...
Read moreHow does the young guy that works the register even still have a job there??? Is the store that desperate for help that they'll keep anyone employed there? This guy literally NEVER smiles, greets the customers, says have a nice day or goodnight, NOTHING. He literally does the bare minimum with a look of disgust on his face. As if he's being obligated to work there. Like I don't get it. Every single time I shop there, it's the same thing every time he's at the register. It just baffles me because I have no doubts that the management is aware of his attitude and lack of customer service skills but continues to justify it by continuing his employment, refusal to retrain him or hold him accountable. If the management has held him accountable and he continues with this performance, then he simply just doesn't give a....you know. Do...
