My sister and new brother in law were married in the lovely indoor pavilion. The huge fireplace and exposed wood beams are beautiful, and could be decorated to be a little elegant or charmingly rustic. There is a kitchen for the catering company to do what they need to do. They had only about 40 guests, and the room was full, so it's great for smaller events. The only thing I didn't care for was the restrooms for the park are located in the small lobby right outside the doors for the space, and one mom and her kids actually came into my sister and brother in law's rented space to use the bathrooms that are for that space, which is completely unacceptable. Also, the noise from the lobby and playground very nearby was loud at times. Overall, very nice, but it should be posted clearly in the lobby that park guests are not to enter the event space, and sound proofing...
Read moreThis used to be one of my favorite spots to come with my dog. I don't know if it's just the winter time or what, but this park is filthy. There is trash everywhere. Just today I saw at least five cups just sitting around One of them completely full with Starbucks so. A piece of chicken and a stick of gum. Just so everyone's aware gum if it hasn't xylitol can be deadly to dogs. I went ahead and did my part and removed the piece of gum before someone else's dog could grab it. They just now fixed the part of the fence that was knocked down for months closest to the road. The playground is extremely muddy and needs some new mulch put down. It's just basically a mud pit. We loved this park and I would love to be able to love it again. But it definitely needs somebody to pay attention to it because the people that seem to go there just want to...
Read moreLeo-Cedarville park is a great place to visit. The kids absolutely loved it. It is large and well lit as the sun begins to go down. I should've taken pictures, but I can say that it is well maintained and well appointed with an area especially for toddlers and another area for kids of all ages. Plenty of activities for swinging and balancing, a free slides and climbing nets included. Picnic tables outside and seating inside and on certain areas of the equipment for parents. No litter or graffiti was to be seen by me. There is also a large separate grassy area opposite the dividing sidewalk of the park to play catch or toss a frisbee, and it is oriented to prevent an inadvertent straying of ball or frisbee into the play area proper. I currently live in Fort Wayne and willingly make the drive for such an improved family...
