Edit: Changed this to being a 5 star review. The owner replied and made it right, so I see no reason to leave anything less than 5 stars after all is said and done. Will happily return and let others know it's a good local shop.

We used to love this place but we won't be back due to poor customer service. My wife went in today and presented a fully punched card that should have earned her a free drink. The person behind the counter said they could no longer honor this card because they changed their rewards to being online. Nowhere on the card did it say the value would expire. All they offered was one dollar off a drink "for turning it in". Unfortunate that they would not honor this card for one drink.

Short sighted decisions like this are the difference between losing a few bucks today and hundreds of dollars in revenue down the line just from us, referrals to others that will no longer be given out and the inspiration for this review which will reach others online. Silly choice, even fast food joints know you honor the deals you say you will honor.

Anyway, it's not fair to give 1 star, but 3 stars is the best we can do and we will not be continuing our business to this place. Best of luck and I hope you learn from...

June 2024: Great cafe for coffee, tea, boba tea and drinks for all family members. Steve was my barista and he made me a double espresso - wonderful! Pastry options are baked in-house and served fresh (Grandma made 'em). 😉

The ambiance was relaxed and happy, and families can take their toddlers to a climate-controlled play area in the basement for games and safe toys. Other families can hang out on the porch or at a table for board games or conversation.

I made a new friend over coffee and enjoyed this locally owned treasure. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs some positive vibes.

UPDATE: You absolutely MUST try the baked goods. Not kidding when they tell you Grandma makes them. Seriously stunning and wonderful Lemon-Blueberry Muffins (very addictive, but don't tell my thighs), giant Chocolate Chip Cookies (like getting 2-in-1), and all served with in-house roasted coffee that's on-par with any of the national places. Goodness knows, I'm lucky...

Your quintessential ma and pa coffee shop with their own flair. They whip up creative coffee concoctions and have the best taste in coffee and style. I am in love with their decor and their attitudes and the friendly faces that are always happy to see you walk in and door. There’s a great basement area for mamas to meet up and let the littles play in a safe contained environment. That’s brilliant!!
