I want to say that you have a very nice, beautiful rest stop here. I graded it highly, as it should be. The metal sculptures in the prairie are beautiful & my daughters took several pictures there. The facility is clean, brochures are plentiful, and at my mention of University of Kansas being my destination, was offered a map of Kansas as well! The grounds are beautiful, and spacious. There is plenty of room to stroll, let the kids run loose and burn off energy. Take a walk up to the metal sculptures behind the facility for a perfect photo op!! Welcome to Missouri!! I especially want to mention the true gem I found during my stop. The young lady hosting the information counter has a true welcoming spirit. Unfortunately I did not get her name. She was my first impression of Missouri, and is my lasting impression of Missouri. I so wanted to be able to stop again on my way north, unfortunately I wasn't sure how to get back over there easily. Thank you for having a beautiful facility to stop at, and a beautiful, kind, & friendly person as one of its many caretakers!!! Kudos to you Missouri! Lots of pamphlet information at the Eagleville welcome center of the Missouri division of Tourism. Only thing missing are those recycling bins. Please get with...
Read moreBone weary from driving all morning I decided to stop at this Tourism Center on my way south; I am so glad I did! Imagine my surprise when I entered the building and came across one of the most beautiful mosaic tile wall I have ever come across. This mural is worthy of a city hall or some such building. If ever you are traveling south from Des Moines you truly must stop and be awed by the beauty, the size and details. I couldn't fit the entire wall into one image. Well worth the stop, even if you...
