Eagleville Welcome Center and Rest Area — Local services in Leon

Amazing place to stop. We have a toddler and are over the road truckers. It is ALWAYS nice to find a place with picnic areas AND a playground. The restrooms are very clean and the property is well kept. It was so much fun watching our son run around without worrying about being too close to the parking lot. The playground is surrounded by a sidewalk that has different paths to get to different places/parts of the property. There is a walking trail in the back of the property that is littered with metal silhouettes of buffalo and someone riding a horse. This is a nice rest center, especially compared with other Missouri rest centers. It is clean and well maintained, and there are some fun "silhouette" sculptures along the parking drive. There is also a small playground that is well maintained and has a nice soft rubbery surface beneath it. There's also a cool mural inside the building with a lot of historical scenes...

Clean rest area. Playground and picnic area outside. Short unpaved walking area on the west side, with fun sculptures to enjoy.
