Ocimeae Lavender Farm — Attraction in Leroy Township

Ocimae Lavender farm exceeded my expectations! The u-pick festival was the perfect way to spend an afternoon with my boyfriend. We enjoyed perusing around the farm, taking in the beautiful scenery and allowing our senses to be filled with the buzzing of honeybees and the sweet smell of lavender. It was fun putting together our bundle of lavender to take home and taking pictures. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the vendors had some really unique items that you don’t see often at other art fairs. I thought it was really cute that they had some classes going on such as hand massage lessons and lavender wand-making. I loved the gift shop as well, the products were amazing and I would highly recommend the lavender ice cream! We went on a Friday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that it was not crowded at all and very low-key. I am so glad we decided to come here and I would gladly come back...

The owners, Marilyn and Tom are such hard working, generous people, and they have created a very special place. I have seen most of Michigan and this is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places to be found. The aroma of Lavender fills the air. The sound of the amazing bees working to harvest the pollen as you walk between the rows links you with nature. The amazing and well built barn offers a reprieve from the hot and humid summer days. Then there is the prototypical old oak tree creating a massive area of shade to relax and enjoy the perfectly spaced rows of lavender plants on the undulating hills.

This space is perfect for a wedding and reception, or other special celebration. They also offer "date nights" where you can spend the evening with your sweetheart in the beautiful surroundings. July is U-Pick lavender time. Watch for special events on...

We decided to have our wedding here and I don’t think we could have picked a better venue with a more amazing couple running it! Marilyn and Tom went above and beyond in ways we wouldn’t have even thought about including such details as putting lavender in our silverware settings and lavender lemonade that was an absolute hit! Marilyn took just about all of the stress out of the process for us as she had amazing recommendations (of which we used every single one 😋) and awesome ideas that played out beautifully! The best way I can describe our experience would be that it was pretty magical - and a lot of that is due to the efforts from Marilyn and Tom. We’re so grateful for our overall experience and couldn’t recommend Ocimeae...
