Stopped by here on the way through the area we definitely chose the wrong time to visit the pictures we got don't look as amazing as some on here with the sunset would be nice to be able to get up close to it great lighthouse to go and see and the beaches are pleasant

Delaware Breakwater East End Light was built in 1885 and remained in service until 1996. Tours of the lighthouse are held during the summer months. The lighthouse is easily seen and photographed from both Cape Henlopen State Park Beach and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry.

Just an amazing view. We took the trip through the park to get to the lighthouse beach area. Well worth the track. Sunrise was awesome. Parking is limited if you go in season. We like to go out of season when the crowds are smaller. Nice quiet spot to visit.

Just an amazing view. We took the trip through the park to get to the lighthouse beach area. Well worth the track. Sunrise was awesome. Parking is limited if you go in season. We like to go out of season when the crowds are smaller. Nice quiet spot to visit.

While I did not take the boat ride up to the light itself, the views of the lighthouse and sound were great from the beach alone. I recommend visiting during the early morning as it is really scenic and peaceful. The combination of the smooth water and the abundance of nature made for an exceedingly...

The tour was great. I was part of the Lewes Senior Center tour. The only issue that I have is the exit and entrance ramp to the boat was a floating ramp with no gaurd rail. It was difficult to maintain your balance walking to the boat and not take a dip...
