I don't get out fishing as much I would like to but when I do, I like to fish where I have varieties to catch and good people to share the experience with. Since moving to Georgetown DE 4 years ago, I have found that the Cape Henlopen fishing pier has provided what I look for when going on a fishing trip. Its a place that feels safe to take the kids, has a decent bathroom, has a beach to take the family, has hospitable people, and most importantly it usually has fish! I will be coming here for years to come and hopefully a place where my kids will take their kids! The staff is nice, everyone else caught fish while I did not. But if you go there at morning or night hours, I believe you are guaranteed to catch fish. The farther down the dock you go, the more fish there are. There are nice bathrooms, along with a nice bait and tackle shop at the beginning of the pier. The employees are nice and have information on the best weights and bait to fish...
