Central Park is simple but backwoodsy area for people to get away from city life. There is some construction going on now, but there are plenty of trails to walk around in and see trees in all stages of their lives. The area is small enough for everyone to walk through - if you stay on the concrete. There are some dirt paths that let you see areas that the local kids have been playing in since the 1950s. There is a lot of poison ivy so you have to be careful if you are sensitive. If you are adventurous, you can find a wooden fort that the kids groom the fifties built. It's pretty degraded now, but it is an adventure to find it. I go a couple of times a week and always enjoy the from...

Nothing too crazy out of the ordinary both on the positive and negative side. Park has picnic tables, play area for kids and descent enough parking spots. It gets busy in summer which is normal. It also has a biking/walking trail and you can see the river along the trail which is very beautiful.

The only thing I hate is people who walk with their dogs and fail to pick up after their dogs piss in the middle of the trail. That's just disgusting and if you're not constantly looking on the ground, you might step on it. I wish there was a way to enforce on people to pick up after their dogs. It's just common sense, I don't understand why have a dog when you can't pick...

Great for the entire family. From hiking, walking, or kids just having fun on the playground. Them the ice cream truck was in the parking lot to cool us off with a nice treat at the end of our journey. My entire family enjoyed our time there and plan on making it a ever Sunday adventure for a while. I highly recommend Arbor Hills. It has something for everyone - bike trails, hiking trails, and concrete trails. A playground for the little ones, great pavilions for gatherings, and disability compliant. What I like best is the variation of land in the different sections....

A huge park to have family, gatherings, picnics, and just a great place to walk in general. They have a good size playground and lots of grass area to do yoga or tai chi. There is a ton of space to play outdoor games. The walking path around the park has what you call reading posts for children to engage in a story while they walk on the path. The part path leads to the timber Creek Trail. They also have a good amount of trash cans and recycle bins so there is no excuse for people to leave their trash around

Its a great walking trail. So many little trails you can follow to find new places. Love the river that runs along the side of the park. There is also a soccer field, a gym set and tree house playground, I think there is only 1 bathroom on the park grounds though. I do wish there were a few trail lights, like solar powered ones or street lamps, it can get really dark and can be dangerous. I went with my boyfriend as we wanted to take a few pictures of the greenery!

There a nice playground here with lots of picnic benches under some shade trees. There's a playground for big kids and another one for the litter ones. There are several pavilions you can reserve or just have a picnic if they're not in use. There are bathrooms here, but I didn't check if they're open. The real hidden treasure here are the nature trails!!
