Get a pleasant surprise today. On days I don't work, I try to at least get 2-3 miles of walking in. I planned on C. G. Hill, but decided I wanted new vistas. I've considered Jonie Moser Park before, but rejected it for lack of walking trails. Sure enough, there was only a short trail in between park amenities. I stopped and asked a lady in the parking lot and she said if I wanted to walk, I should head a 1/4 mile up the road to Jack Warren Park & Community Center, which was a revelation to me. Beautiful well planned Park with a wonderful paved walking trail with fitness stations, memory trees, benches and birdhouses. It is a city park, so you hear, but don't see, nearby traffic. No dogs allowed, so I kept my Hoodie pulled low...

Iāve been to other playgrounds where I constantly canāt see her on the play set and Iām always frantic that my kid is about to plunge to her death with all the high platform openings and zero steps or that she is getting trampled on by the older kids. The park is beautifully landscaped. There are several occupied bluebird nesting boxes and a small stream running through. There are athletic fields and picnic tables as well.
