I ordered a kitchen table in November and it took 8 weeks to arrive. I was informed that my table was in the middle of January so they setup a delivery date. I was informed a hour before my delivery date that the table base was damaged and that they could deliver the table and chairs but one they got the table base they would change it out. I told them I didn't want it until the table base was replaced. A week went by and no one gave me an estimate delivery date so I called and spoke with Debra. She had to ideal what was going on and that she had to call me back to see what had happened to my order. She called back a couple hours later to inform me that they had to order a replacement part for the base of the table. Long story short: they delivered my table and chairs a week later. I received the table and chairs and there was no paperwork, the chairs had no plastic on them. There was nothing that would make me believe that this table and chairs were the table that they ordered new and it took 8 weeks to ship. I was told by the delivery driver that this was the second table and chairs they had in the last couple of weeks. I was not convinced that this was the new table and chairs I ordered from this company so I called and left a told the sells lady that I believe they gave me the table and chairs off the show room floor. She got real defensive and said I need to talk to Debra.But Debra wasn't there. So I left my name and number for her to call me back. I never heard from anyone. I am a 20 year Navy veteran and I have served this country with the highest level of honor and respect. I never would have thought this would happen to me. This is the second time posting because they removed the first post from 2/2/24. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! Your delivery guy only responded to this second post through a text message and no one responded to my first post over 3 weeks ago. I have never received furniture without any paperwork from the manufacturer. Also we I called your office the same day with my complaint no one called me back. I didn’t even have an opportunity to return the product because the person who took the message NEVER followed up with my complaint. So no I don’t believe this table and chairs are new. I was working with a wonderful older female salesperson with black hair, who was incredibly kind and patient as I selected my bedroom set. After making my decision, I had a simple question about the delivery day, which required her to consult with the manager. She initially approached an older gentleman, but he was on the phone and unable to assist. She then went to the office to ask a younger blonde-haired woman for help, and what followed was appalling. The blonde woman started berating the salesperson in front of me, turning a basic question about delivery into an unnecessarily demeaning tirade. I have rarely witnessed such blatant disrespect for an employee in any professional setting.
This experience was made worse by the store’s subpar finance options. All I needed was an invoice to take to Lendmark, as my purchase was going to be close to $4,000 or more if I decided to include a mattress. However, after witnessing how they treat their employees, I would not return to this location for any reason. Even if they offered me the bedroom for free, I wouldn’t take it. Dedicated employees like my salesperson deserve to work in an environment where they’re treated with dignity. While the store is large and offers a wide variety of products, the pricing is confusing and uncompetitive. For example, who prices something at $1,113.76? Read moreI purchased several pieces of furniture. The delivery did not arrive during the delivery window. I called and was told it would "probably be 20 minutes". I asked if it actually be close to this as I needed to get back to work. I was basically told it is what it is. I asked if there was any consideration for the delivery cost given this major inconvenience and I was given a very rude "no". I then advised them to cancel the order. The associate became very upset and hung up on me. I was not using profanity or yelling during this conversation. She was simply mad that I was cancelling the order given that we did not really know when or if it would arrive. I called again and was told that I had to come to the store for a refund despite never receiving the furniture. I then traveled in a car 30 minutes one way as this was the only option. Upon arriving I asked to speak with a manager for the third time and was told it would be very unlikely that anyone would contact me. The refund was given, however, I had now missed 3 hours of work and been treated as though I was the problem.
