We moved to Edison Park 3 years ago, noticed there were no gyms around that 1 were reasonably priced 2 had friendly staff 3 and had it all in one.
Cardio, weight machines and free weights. An indoor track, I think you have to run 12 outside laps to get a mile, and 14 for the outside. Outside track is for walkers, inside track is for runners.
From up there you can see 2 full size basketball courts and I think a total of 6 half courts. They offer spin classes in the morning and other activities for seniors.
They have a indoor swimming pool and the locker rooms are huge and safe.
Forgot what I paid, but it's reasonable and for the most part, the staff can be friendly.

I remember before they put up the fences on the hill. When I was a child, there was no fences you used to be able to go off any side of the hill. To enter that specific area, you must be 13 or older so I would not reccomend bringing your younger child without a second guardian if you are only planning to work out. You should definitely bring them to the indoor pool. There is a kid pool and a normal pool along with a lap pool for swimming. In the area there is a shower and sauna and hot tub.
