Pickens County Airport Park — Attraction in Liberty

Super small with only one table and no other seating or shade. Not sure how this location will bring enough people to keep the ice cream shop going but if they expand the playground (there's plenty of cleared land) and add some seating this could be a really great addition for Pickens. The most exciting part was the airplanes landing and taking off which all the children at the park that day loved. We most likely won't go again unless they add seating or shade since our two littles are both under age two and the only option was to sit in mulch. Was REALLY hoping it would be themed like the Greenville airport park. The park in Pickens at Doodle trail is nicer and has a play area for bigger and smaller kids and they also have the shaved ice place...

Small playground but my two kids ages 2 and 3 loved it! I appreciated that the structure didn't have too many spots to fall out or too many older kids spots of making it so I didn't need to be on edge and climbing with my two year old. Not really what I was expecting. It was nice but there is zero shade and only 1 small table to sit at. The play area is a little on the smaller side and I wish the pavement extended all the around so you could bring a bike or something. Hopefully they'll add more to this area at some point.
