I like this place. The sign at the St Paul Pool and Yacht club says members only, so, there is another parking lot, a skosh up the hill, that works fine. Unless you want to sit in your car and watch the river roll by. Great walking on wide sidewalks, some dirt paths, and the paved road. lots of bicyclists, but so many, and not so fast, and plenty of room for everyone, without worrying about being knocked off your feet by someone on a bike! The water runoff into the Mississippi is heavily polluted causing the water to have a high turbidity and low oxygenation.
