This is an unassuming beach, hidden in the shadow of Shalisan Resort and golf club. I almost passed it by but thought I should stop and I'm glad I did. The trail down to the beach was paved thru the trees and is clearly marked so you can find your way back to where you started ( always look back at where you entered the beach when you get to the waters edge. Oregon has large numbers by the trailheads for ease of locating your exit). The beach is flat and sandy. There was some erosion abatement work being done by one of the houses while we were there, but the beach looks pretty quiet normally. I found a pocket full of agates, which was a suprise bonus. There really aren't that many rocks on the beach, but most of what I found had the deep red carnelian coloring (my favorite!). Check this beach out and try your luck if you are ever...

This is an easy place to stop with plenty of parking to go walk the beach. However, the beach is fairly limited by the Schoolhouse Creek, so you cannot walk very far. There were also some steep rocks to climb up and down on to get to the beach, so anymore with limited mobility, risk of falling should use caution when walking on the beach. I would say that the Oregon State Parks are doing a good job maintaining the area though, it’s just a steep incline to get to the beach, which is just a challenge with the landscape of that spot.

I would recommend the beach access by Mo’s if you are searching for a longer walk, and Gleneden Beach State Park if you are searching for a 20-minute walk. If you were to get lucky and find yourself at the coast on a warm and less windy day, it could be a nice spot to hang out on the beach for hours...

It is hard to beat an Oregon Beach, especially one with ample parking, restroom facilities and some space to get away from the madding crowd. However, there are beaches and then there are beaches. (Sorry, hand gestures not included in this review.) As much as we enjoyed an afternoon sitting on the beach, relaxing and all that, there are some minor issues with this Site: there is required maintenance that is needing to be done on the facilities and the pathways. The beach sand is not great and the spot where the waves break is in fact not flat so while waves that break close to can be large, you can't wade out a 100 ft and still only be up to your knees. But still go, especially if the other beaches around Lincoln City are full of Portland tourists and have run...

a Florida beach girl… visiting the Oregon coast 🥶😂 We spent the afternoon at Gleneden Beach and it was stunning — dramatic cliffs, peaceful waves, and such a beautiful stretch of coastline. Coming from Florida’s warm, white-sand beaches… let’s just say there was no way we were swimming 😅 But we loved every second. The cool breeze, the sound of the waves, and the views made it such a peaceful spot to explore with the kids. ✅ Beautiful views + peaceful vibe ✅ Fun for rock collecting and running barefoot in the sand ✅ No crowds ✅ Absolutely freezing water — but still 10/10 🫶

it was a nice beach, it was clean and not to crowded. there is a slip and a little walk down to the beach on a none maintained path. I walk with a gate and use a cane, and found it pretty easy and need no assistance to get my self down the path to the beach. good amount of parking for all vehicles and plenty of handicap parking too. on site restrooms and place for dogs to do there business. dogs have to be leashed at all times the signs said and people seemed to obey those rules. it was a pleasant experience.
