Scenic overlook while cruising east on the Kancamangus highway. The pullout for this is off the east bound lane. There is a decent amount of RV parking which was helpful for us since some of the other hikes and scenic spots we wanted to visit, had jerks who thought it was OK to fill the dedicated RV and Bus spots with their subarus and audi's. This spot was surprisingly crowded for a midweekday in October. Very beautiful area, I think we we're a little late in the year as a lot if trees had lost their leaves already. Read moreStunning spot to stop and catch the sunset over the White Mountains. The gazebo faces out in the direction of sunset. It seems a popular place for a quick photo (who wouldn't want a photo here?) but is very peaceful and serene most of the time. There is an outhouse in case you're looking for a place to relieve yourself, but sometimes the smell travels down toward the gazebo depending on the wind's direction. If you're going to be driving the Kancamagus Highway, it'd definitely worth stopping here if only for a few...

Usually there is plenty of parking, but it could get a little crowded and the bugs start to come out at night motorcyclist cars all come here. it’s only a 15 to 20 minute drive from Lincoln, New Hampshire and about 35 to 40 minute drive from North Conway.
