The quintessential foliage location in all of New England! People come from all over the country and world to experience the Kancamagus Highway (New Hampshire, Route-112. The 56 mile stretch of winding, mountainous roads should be on every photographer's/leaf-peeper's bucket list. The pass cuts across the White Mountain National Forest & multiple rivers.
If you follow the local foliage forecasts and time your trip properly, you're in for something special. I have made 3 trips through the pass and each time it only gets better. There are several viewing locations with excellent elevation overlooking the foliage.
The Kancamagus is not to be missed!
Happy Travels!

We could also notice some ice on the top of mountains. But the Highway and the pass overall is amazing and...
