I love taking myself on cute little dates. In fact one of my favorite things to do when I’m home is to go on road trip adventures to explore and discover new places. Tiverton and Little Compton are absolute hidden gems of Rhode Island in my opinion. Secluded away from the rest of the state, this area is untouched by tacky chains, stores or businesses, but full of charm, tranquility, nature and stunning beauty. Driving over, I always stop at @coastalroasters to grab a delicious peanut butter coffee. Trust me! It’s amazing! With chill electro tunes blaring, I then cruise down the coastal road overlooking gorgeous homes, rolling hills, vast farm land, hydrangea bushes and old rock walls, which make it feel like you’ve transported to the English countryside. Along the way you can stop at @sakonnetwine to try some wine, @tivertonfourcorners for some antique shopping or adorable quaint on your honor farm stands like @floresbonitasri. It doesn’t get much cuter than this! For the final stop, head to my favorite beach past the Sakonet Yatch Club called Lloyd’s beach where you’ll walk over multicolored stones to a beach peninsula overlooking the Sakonet Light House. This is an adorable little local beach perfect for a picnic lunch, bon fire and a more rustic nature feel away from the crowded public beaches in other parts of the state. What are your favorite spots in Rhode Island or New England? I’m always trying to discover new gems. . . . #littlecomptonri #littlecompton #tivertonri #tiverton #oceanstate #theoceanstate #discovernewport #visitrhodeisland #ri #rhodeislandsummer #thingstodo #itinerary #traveltips #daytrip #rhodylife #rhodylove #rhodyfoody #rhodeislandreel #newengland #roadtrip_newengland #roadtripnewengland #whatsgoingoninrhodeisland #onlyinrhodeisland #rhodeislandphotographer #rhodeislandliving #newenglandfall #fallinnewengland

When you first arrive at Lloyd's on your right are the beautiful orange rock against the wall. You have to go through the " moving rock " area of the beach. You'll know what I mean when you go - kids will love it! When you get to the sandy part of the beach it's great. If it's low tide there is a sand bar. At the end of this, you have one of the best 360 degree views you will find. Very quiet during the week.

Although I am not one of the privileged few who are allowed access, I’ve been going to Lloyd’s Beach for many many years. It’s absolutely gorgeous in all seasons. Just be polite and say hello to the “guards” at the gate and walk on past to experience the beauty of our RI coast which is your right. They are only hired by the rich who like to intimidate and bully people.

This would be a nice place to walk along in warmer weather. We went on a very cold and rainy day and it was still pretty but we couldn't stay long since we were so cold.

Beautiful hidden Gem in Little Compton. If I didn’t get out of the car and peek over the hedges, I would not have seen the beach entrance

Very calming place. If weather permits, it’s a beautiful spot to relax.
