Quicksand/Simmons Mill Pond — Attraction in Little Compton

The place is beautiful and very peaceful. However, yesterday 8/26/22 some weirdo was yelling at us from the bushes to get out of the place. We couldn't see his face but we only heard his voice. We were walking on the path that leads to John Dyer Road parking lot. We were following the map and we were exactly where we were supposed to be. This was between the parking lot and the dry brook. I would recommend to use the other entrance which is wider and usually there are more people around just in case if some psycho gets triggered by your presence and decides to attack you...

Amazing space with beautiful views of everything. I went off the main trails a few times and it was spectacular but wet. The main paths are wide and clear though they too, can be wet in some locations. The photos and maps and tidbits of information were wonderful and educational.
