I came here for a morning soccer game for my son, and the parking was ridiculous. I would be happy if we never had to come back again. Although we came back tonight and the parking was much better with plenty of spaces. My son was so excited to play at the playground, but the slide was closed for some reason, which was disappointing. I still gave it three stars for it being beautiful and having a nice little trail, and the field was in great condition. I'm not a fan of Porta potties, but to be fair, bathrooms are never nice, and you are lucky to even have those! So -2 stars for no parking anywhere close if it's a weekend morning where soccer games are scheduled and the fact that the tall slide is closed so the playground was disappointing. Lots of dogs going on walks around as well! Update! Slide was open at the last game and an afternoon game on a weekend the parking was still bad but at least we...

Absolutely stunning view. I'm jealous the kids get to climb all the way up the awesome play structure and have safe birds eye view of the scenery of the lake and the gorgeous mountain range behind it. Beautiful wide open space for the pups to run around and play with owners, baseball field, basketball goals for the hoopers, and new bathroom facility slated to open very soon, as well as spacious gazebo for parties and hanging out, and last but not least cycling station for air and minor repairs! Highly recommended for the kiddos and adults...

Writers Vista park is on the border between the cities of Highlands Ranch and Littleton on top of a hill on Mineral Ave for car travel or on the Highline Canal Trail for pedestrians and cyclists. There is a large and beautiful reservoir but it is surrounded by a large fence that goes all the way around. This park also has a medium sized playground and large grassy sports fields. A good destination to go when...

We had fun here. The path goes into an area that is residential and ends near some condos or townhomes. There was a pavilion that looked like a baby shower was happening there. Playground. Nice big field if you wanna throw a frisbee to a dog or kick a ball around. Wish the neighborhood shaded path had been a bit longer. Reasonable amount of parking.
