Great place for swimming. Calm, shallow water, great for kids and dogs. Few tourist know about this beach. It's a local secret less than 5 miles from Carolina and 10 miles from Old San Juan.

This is a fantastic Beach for fishing. Huge Cove with small waves. are very small. You can fish from the beach or you can fish from the Rocky Point, both are great. there's lots of sardines that gather here. People catch them with big casting nets and then use them as bait. Jackfish is very common. I have seen people catch over a dozen fish and less than 2 hours Great spot for Anglers don't forget to bring your bucket to store the fish you caught.

There are great hiking trails on the north side that carve through the jungle. Wear shoes, it's rocky, not sandy on the trail. Due to the hurricane, there are some downed trees you have to navigate. Don't let that stop you from some great trails and views.

There are no amenities on this beach. No bathrooms ,no food stalls , no place to buy water. Make sure you bring...

The name of Punta Vacia Talega is derived from the place where lots of coconut sacks bags were loaded on ships, that were sold directly to the Virgin Islands for oil productions. The place with a long sandy beach is used to be quiet than other coastal areas in the north of the island. It is safe, ideal for swimmers and non-swimmers, not too deep the water but you will not find any sanitary or recreational facilities in that area. If you are going to visit Vacia Talega I recommend you to arrive on time because finding a parking is very limited. Take 187 roads going to Punta Vacia Talega. Perfect to enjoy watching the...

We had a great afternoon at this beach. It was off the beaten oath and only 15 minutes from Isla Verde. There is someone who rents chairs and umbrellas for those who need it at a reasonable rate of $5 a chair, $10 umbrella. You need to have your own beverages and food but the relaxation and view are just beautiful. Water is great for kids and those like my husband and I who can not swim. You are just a few feet from parking, but it is limited. Go early and enjoy. If you need a bite to eat, just a 5 minute drive, and you'll find a...
