It's one of the most beautiful sights during the fall. Though, fall isn't just the only time is beauty shines.

Logan Canyon has much to offer during the spring, summer, and fall. Camping, trail hiking, fishing, bird watching, river play, biking, and so much more. There's even some caves, but I'm not telling where our fav caves are located. Yah yah...I'm a meanie.

One other thing you could do is enjoy a picnic at 1st Dam or 2nd Dam.... maybe just don't feed the ducks. I mean, it seems like a cool thing to do with the 3 year old, but it actually kills the feathered flocks faster due to bloating, just a FYI.

Even the winter has its charm here in Logan Canyon, like snowmobiling up near Tony's Grove, skiing at Beaver Mountain, tubing at the Sinks, or snow shoeing the trails. Oh, and if you have no desire to build your own snowman but enjoy seeing others creative ambitions, there's always the giant snow man, usually located just past Tony's Grove turn, about a ½ mile past, on the left side of road..... but do know, there is no parking besides off to the sides of the canyon highway, making it hazardous for yourself getting to and from your car and those driving on the road.

The canyon road is bendy. Occasionally, at 50 mph, it can be nerve-wracking when an enormous diesel pulling a giant wake boat comes whipping around a bend while the guy behind you is in such a big hurry to be 3 cars in front of you by the time you reach Bear Lake, he's back there riding the line of chance.... but if you can be the one with patience, just let all the crazies pass you by when the single lane turns into a double for those 25 seconds of passing. I mean, it that or possibly live your spirit life at the Nunnery. I heard that's not only a place of an episode of, 'I see dead people', but it's also a great place to get a trespassing ticket, if anyone's interested......🤫

Anywho, now that I've gotten that out of my system, let's get back to the not-so-dramatic.

Off-road adventures can be found at the Right Hand turn off, keep right and you're on the right path to back country adventures. Though, if it's snowy and anywhere between mid November-mid April, expect to run into closed gates that do not allow you to get stuck in a blizzard in the middle of nowhere and give reason to send the search party because of poor judgment.

If you haven't been this way and need a little get away for the day, weekend, whatever, there is plenty to do here in this cute 40ish min pass through from Cache Valley to Bear Lake.

Drive safe.....this...

So fortunate to have a cabin in the Canyon , such awesome wilderness. Tony Grove is a drive worth taking. Stop at the Ranger Station at the mouth of the Canyon and read up on the history of Logan Canyon and Cache Vally and appreciate it for...

Driving through Logan Canyon on the way to Bear Lake is beautiful on its own but, here are 3 quick and easy stops you can make along the way for some added adventure! 👉Hobbit Caves(located off of right fork canyon road, pull over at the large pull off .5 miles up the road and cross by the waterfall!) 👉Rick Springs(right along the main road, easy to spot & fun to read the signs!) 👉Limber Pine Trail(pull off the canyon road at the parking lot, 1.3 mile trail!) 🥾If you are looking for longer adventures and more to explore in Logan Canyon, you can also check out 👉Tony Grove (1.2 miles around a lake with wildflowers and beautiful views!) 👉Wind Caves(4.0 miles, incredible caves and views!) 👉White Pine Lake (7.7 miles, moderate but beautiful!) 🌎As always practice leave no trace principles when visiting these beautiful spaces! Have you done any of these?? Logan Canyon is so beautiful and well worth exploring, especially if you are already driving through it to get to Bear Lake! #logancanyon #logancanyonutah #bearlake #bearlakeutah #bearlakeidaho #limberpinetrail #hobbitcavesutah #ricksprings #windcavesloganutah #utahadventures #utahoutdoors #exploremore #adventuretogether #utahfamilytravels #utahmoms #exploreutah #utahtravels

Things to do in Utah: Logan Canyon Horseback Riding 🐎 My God sister and her husband visited from San Diego and we decided to go horseback riding! We did the 1 hour ride since we are beginners besides my 14 year old niece who was trying to make fun of us being first timers lol My horses name was Smokey and he was so sweet 😭 I loved that we were able to give the horses extra love and attention after our ride. Our tour guide Tabby was so sweet and amazing 🩷 Catch me in my horse era watching Heartland on Netflix 😂 #utah #thingstodoinutah #utahcheck #loganutah #horsebackriding #summeractivities Family and kid friendly activities in Utah | things to do in utah | horseback riding | summer activities in Utah
