Silverado Skate Park — Attraction in Long Beach

My first impression was this park looks bad, but upon closer inspection and skating it for an hour, I actually rate it.

Sure there's a few holes in the wooden ramps but it's got all the basic elements- rail, ledge, bank, hip, quarter, and a curb.

I had a great session here and I'd happily go back. Personally there's more here for me to skate than a lot of the other congested concrete parks I've been to.

I also love the totally unnecessary metal cobweb decor on the ramps.

Great Skatepark! Im a rollerskater. Met up with rollerblader friends. Skatboders, everyone was amazing and nice. Im a female and the guys didn't make me feel awkward. The redesign Spohn Ranch did for this park is great! They took a few legacy objects from Cherry Park and placed them alongside a few quarterpipes, ledges, a metal double sided curb and a pyramid. Although this park can get pretty hot during the day, it does have lights...
