Iāve been going to Casa Perez for years because the food is consistently good ā no complaints there. Unfortunately, the same canāt be said about the customer service.
Over time, Iāve noticed a steady decline in the professionalism and attitude of several servers. Many seem unhappy or uninterested in serving customers, including (who I believe to be) the ownerās daughter or manager. There is one server whoās always friendly and professional, but when anyone else helps us, itās often an unpleasant experience.
For example, during one recent visit, I placed my order before another table, yet they received their drinks first. When I politely asked about my coffee, the manager responded defensively, saying they had run out and needed to brew a new pot ā but her tone was unnecessarily aggressive. After years of similar experiences, it became clear that customer service is not a priority here.
Because of this, I stopped dining in and only order menudo for pickup on weekends. Unfortunately, even that has become disappointing. Today I ordered online through DoorDash to avoid in-person issues, but my order was incorrect. When my wife called to address it, the staff refused to take responsibility, insisting it was our fault for not including details in the notes ā even though I had.
A better response would have been simple: āLetās make it right for you.ā Instead, they offered āfree granoā for the menudo, which isnāt even an extra-charge item. That kind of response only adds insult to injury.
In short ā the food is good, but the service and attitude are not. If you value friendly, attentive service and accountability when mistakes happen, this isnāt the place for you. I truly hope management takes this as constructive feedback and remembers that good customer service is the foundation of any...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk...so my family has been driving past this place for YEARS (prob decades) saying we should stop in-tonight we finally did-and I am PISSED we didn't do so sooner! Service was amazing (some of y'all saying they are rude are out of your minds!), ample parking, great music and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. But guys (gender neutral!) the Margaritas were INCREDIBLE and twice the size of the cup!! And the food šš¤¤ my GOD! I had a blended strawberry margarita-i SWEAR there were fresh strawberries in there-and a wet asada burrito with salsa Verde. One of the best green salsas I have ever had!! Mom's had a lemon blended margarita and a wet bean and cheese burrito-obsessed! Neither of us could finish our food! I legit probably have lunch AND dinner for tomorrow! They have a drive thru for days you don't feel like going in AND are available on Uber eats, grubhub, etc. Apparently, they have 1.50 fish tacos on Tuesdays and 1.50 shrimp tacos on Thursdaysš³ I'll be back for the (beef) birria and the chilaquiles š¤¤

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had been wanting to go here for a very long time, being that I live up the block, but I was not satified at all. I called fist to inquire if they used Pork Fat/Manteca in thier cooking and was told they did not. I am Jewish, so of course I will not eat foods that contain Pork Products and also for health reasons - other than My Religion - I would never use it or ingest it in any way... I get there and order: A Chili Relleno, Chicken & Beef Tacos, 2 Cheese Enchilladas W/ 2 Flour Tortillas and a Soda. $17.72. Immediately I knew there is Pork laced in everything I was eating... I asked them about it and they present to me: A bottle of Mazola??? I asked them to remake my food and allow me to watch and they said: "it would be against the Law!" Liar Liar Pants On Fire!!! I ask the to bag up the Pork on my table and I will feed it to my Dog!!! I will Never Go Back! Lesson Learned... It is amazining what liars will do to get a buck. This...
