Great hiking trails that connect to other trails ( Black Mountain trail, Grapevine Trail, Creek Tail, Toyon Trail- check out the map). There is a US$10.00 entrance Fee. I wasn't aware that you had to make a reservation. Anyhow just paid and drove in. Very nice and friendly staff. Great and safe parking area. Plenty of spots. Clean restrooms. They have an educational garden and lots of cool animals to check out. Now for the hiking part. I took the Hostel Trail entrance right across from the Hostel. I walked almost to the top of Black Mountain trail, however it was getting late and did not want to walk in the dark. Even though the last 10 minutes it was getting dark. Had to use the flashlight. Unless you are prepare, be aware of your time. I walked about (9.1 miles - total) ~ 4hrs. Although I stopped to take pics and to rest. I suggest to bring fruit (bananas, Mandarins) and of course water. Always be prepared!!! Enjoy it...

During the California Shelter In Place orders, Hidden Villa is open but access is by reservation only. You'll need to reserve a slot online and pay the $10 fee. There's plenty of parking. The sheep enclosure is open for public viewing, and the hiking trails are 50% shady and well maintained. The Short Bunny Loop is a bit steep and trails can be narrow and slippery, so be careful with the little ones. There are porta potties on the property but no faucets for handwashing. They do provide hand sanitizers. A great little gem for a...

Great beginner-friendly hiking trails with a mild slope. Parking is $10. During COVID you can book a 2-hour appointment to visit the hiking trails. The hiking trails are roped off to force people to wall in a loop which is a great way to avoid passing people. There are two loops, I took the Grapevine one, which took about 90 mins to complete. Great views at the top, but a lot of the area close to the peak is dusty and in direct sunlight. Bring plenty of water...

* kids friendly * Ample parking space. * Clean restroom * Many picnic tables * Pet friendly. Pets should be on leash on the trails *Reservation needed. There is a small fee. * lots of trails within 2 miles distance, makes it easier with kids/toddlers. The trails are not stroller friendly, at least the once we took * Picturesque. * Lots of photospots in the farm and in the trails for good Instagramable pictures. * Farm animals and vegetable garden is a plus
