The park is rather large with new slides and swings in play area. They have a bike trail you can walk or let kids ride their bikes on. They have one full court and a half basketball court, which is usually open during the day but after 3pm can get crowded. Parking is done on Strathern Street or Whitsett Ave, but it's plenty because you can use both sides of the streets. Sadly, there is some tagging here and there, but if locals stay on top of it, it usually gets removed quickly. You can play soccer or any other grass games, but be careful for the dog poop some owners "forget" to pick up. They have a great play area for children with minor physical disabilities. If a child is in a wheelchair there are still a few things that can play with some seated. If it's possible to remove that from the chair they can go on a number of play items, such as swings and a seated "pool" that spins around. The spin around, hold 4 to 5 kids nicely.
