Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir — Attraction in Los Angeles

First discovered this little gem some 20 years ago when I was working on a house nearby. I'll admit it I definitely saw it as a peaceful scenic shortcut during rush hour traffic as a way to avoid Coldwater canyon between Mulholland and sunset. A beautiful and tranquil location. Another great lace to walk or hike and have a picnic with a family. Lots of big trees to provide plenty of shade even during the hot summer. Road up was not my favorite and we turned the wrong way at first but on the way out we took a different way down and ended up in Beverly Hills so the drive back...
