I have a lot of fond memories of visiting Franklin Canyon, the William O. Douglas Outdoor Classroom and the Sooky Goldman Nature Center. Get there early and get there often. Keep the children within shouting distance, coyotes and rattlesnakes. This is California after all. Picnics, no fires. Nice hikes and walks. I think the park opens at 7:00 a.m. Enter from off of Mulholland on the north end, from Beverly Hills, North Beverly Drive on from...
