Excellent trail classified as moderate since half of the trail is steep climb by rest of half 2.5 miles is slope and easy to come down. Be prepared to climb pretty quickly the steep part at the beginning of the trail. You can climb over 1150 ft in 2m4 miles distance. Plenty of shade in between sections. View of mountains if you start clockwise but view of the reservoir in counter clockwise direction. The difficulty level is equal on both sides. Little Ricky sections so being careful is suggested to stay safe. Some red berry trees but not much eventful trail. Gives you a great workout of 5 miles in a loop. It took us 2 hours to finish with plenty of breaks for photos and certain spots. Overall a lovely 5 star trail highly recommend for novice as well as experienced hikers. Enjoy. It's a 5.2 mile trail loop with good views at the top and covered with 40% shade. The descent was a little tricky with mostly gravels, so make sure you get your step right. 1L water bottle should be just fine.
Keep an eye out for...
