Great local trail in the San Jose/Los Gatos border, hidden away in a beautiful neighborhood, great views of the city and valley. I rated this trail as moderate but if you head up the Vista trail it's a bit more difficult. Your best bet is (if you're coming from Reagent Dr) go up Valley Trail then continue on Sky Trail THEN meet up with Vista Trail and going down is much more manageable and a perfect loop back to your car (about 2 a...

It was a really short but lovely hike. Very shaded on the Vista side but that also means it can get muddy if it’s just been raining. I started on the Vista side to valley, and it was very steep. The reason I gave it four stars is because on the vista side, there is a fallen tree blocking the trail. I guess that makes sense as to why everybody else was starting on the...

Great trail, with deer and quail and a bench at the top with a great view of the Santa Clara Valley. Can be accessed fairly quickly, in less than a half an hour, or can extend it into a longer hike by heading towards...
