Would like to say that our experience was good, but it wasn’t. Yesterday we went with some friends to enjoy the beach. We got in line to purchase beach/swim tickets and waited 25 only to find out that they were sold out. This is also the same line for the snack shop. There should have been something posted near around the area to let people know about the beach closed. So we walked down toward the beach area. So many people with canopies with large groups that trying to find a spot in the grass is really hard. Read moreThe swim beach was great, it was less crowded this weekend. Also, the shallow lake is perfect for young kids to enjoy the water. There are plenty of picnic tables and shaded areas right by the water, making it a perfect family day out!
Honestly, what really worries me is just how many boats and water scooters there are, and all the carbon pollution from them. It's like there's actual carbon floating ashore from the exhaust! I really hope the authorities step in to tackle...
