This is a great place to see gators and beautiful roseate spoonbills!! We went in mid April and saw about 2 dozen spoonbills nesting in the island in the lake. Many other interesting birds too like herons and egrets.

This location was excellent for birding photography. Good parking, lots of photography locations. Plenty of opportunities for capturing birds in flight. We saw numerous species of birds and other wildlife.

Great place to see birds and alligators. Spoonbills, egrets, herons, anhingas nest on islands in the middle of a small lake. Birds are easy to see (binoculars help) and the roseate spoonbills were stunning. It's an easy half an hour walk around the lake however need to be aware of...

Many pink spoon bills were in migration. Don't be surprised, it really is a big pond in a field. It's nice to know that some one was so giving to let people enjoy their private property to observe these beauties. Bonus, we saw the sign for Rip Van Winkle Gardens and went...
