I went to Louisville Point Park recently for an Easter Cookout with my Girlfriend's family. The park is accessible by Wheelchair, Walker and Handicap. Handicap parking is very limited to first come first serve but the park is very wide open and accessible. There are restrooms on the property along with cooking grills and trash collections areas. The park is open with different areas for outdoor activities along with Lake access. It was a pleasant and fun experience. Leave us a Like (below) if you read the review.

This is a lovely park! There is a nice playground with slides and swings; plenty of room to run and play; vending machines and two bathroom structures. There is a boat ramp and a large pavilion with double BBQ grills toward the front end. There are quite a few picnic tables and several grills throughout the property. They have a swimming area but no lifeguards on duty. It's very clean and well kept. The water was pretty low when we we went but we had a good time just the same.

Came here for the first time for Father’s Day Sunday. Luckily we arrived early to get a good shade spot along the shore with a picnic table. There are a lot of places to setup for a great day at the lake. Traffic on the water was high but it was Father’s Day so it was to be expected, Not sure how it is on most days. Management team keeps this place very well taken care of. We will definitely be coming back for another great day at the lake.

nice place when they are open when you get there..guy running the place acts like its a big bother to him to have to open and close that gate and will try to run you out of there long before dark so he can start drinking his beer..wasn't even open today after a 45 drive there..i guess it was too cold for him to walk 50 feet to open that gate..if a man buys . fishing license he ought to be able to fish during park hours..make all the excuses you want about the cold because i have fished there 20 years and only recently has weather been a problem..i sat at the gate an hour and a half and when he came outside wouldn't even...

Here right now for the first time. My neighbor came along since shes been here before. I really like it. Plenty of room an parking. Not many people here. Lots of boats and fishing. You can swin but theres some rocks you got to get over not big ones. Id wear water shoes. I swam with catfish no problem but then a snake came out the rocks that were in the water as i was comming out. I probably well actually lol i wont be going back in. Everything is great but the snake killed it. Should be signs of caution with snakes. Dont know if it was poisonous or not but it was...

Lovely location for a picnic, or great place to launch your boat for fun or pleasure on the water; enjoy the shade under large trees or sunshine spread across the grass, take in the fresh air, nice breezes and views across the lake. Not sure about fishing, but the jet-skiers have a great time! Careful finding your turn off the main highway, signage is inadequate. This park could use some volunteers to pick up debris and litter, also maintenance of eroded grounds where trip hazards can cause accidents...
