Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area caught us by surprise. We've lived and travelled in this part of the Rocky Mountains for decades, but had never paid any attention to this National Park. Read moreFor the Little Bighorn Canyons this is the right Visitor Center to go to. The yellowtail Dam is not a good Visitor Center to go to. The yellowtail damn is closed during the winter months hand there is nothing to see there. The dam itself is only open 3 months out of the year. This Visitor Center is open year-round.
