Was in a pinch for a place to stay while road tripping between the national parks/monuments in WY. After seeing the Medicine Wheel in Bighorn, it was nightfall and a Google search yielded this RV park in Lovell. Was pleasantly surprised to find that it was free, was tent friendly, and had showers.
HOWEVER, my experience was ruined by the fact that a city truck spraying some sort of chemical (assumably to control the INSANE amount of mosquitos) drove right down the road, right in my face. Apparently the town of Lovell still exists in the 1960s where it's okay to spray mass amounts of chemicals into the vicinity of innocent bystanders who are just trying to enjoy their tofu dinner while on a cross country roadtrip.

There are two female and two male toilets. You find the showers in the handicapped restrooms. The city obviously has people come clean the bathrooms, likely daily. We saw them while we were here.
There is a lot of shade and picnic tables. We didn't use the grills, but they are available. A fire ring is also available.
This would also be a good stop for travelers needing a place to have a picnic lunch.
Please leave a donation. They have earned it.
(We have T-Mobile and got 5G at...
