Free but please donate a few $. Free camping, free showers, free RV/campervan dumping, free water, community BBQ pit & BBQ grills at most sites. Small, peaceful & mostly quiet. Not a lot of services nearby stock up before you get here. Gas Station, Family Dollar, dmall diner (good food, slow service, but not vegetarian friendly,) ok grocery store & a few other standard businesses. WiFi 👍 AT&T Hotspot 👍 No hook-ups. 3 day limit but if your quiet /no problems, no one will say anything if you stay an extra day. But please donate, because I saw most people come to dump & fill up (water) & leave. Let Lovell City Council know you appreciate the free place so others / we don't lose it.

We're tenters, so we weren't sure if we could stay at Lovell Camper Park, but you absolutely can tent camp. There are two female and two male toilets. You find the showers in the handicapped restrooms. The city obviously has people come clean the bathrooms, likely daily. We saw them while we were here. There is a lot of shade and picnic tables. We didn't use the grills, but they are available. A fire ring is also available. This would also be a good stop for travelers needing a place to have a picnic lunch. Please leave a donation. They have earned it. (We have T-Mobile and got 5G at campground.)

On our way from Billings to Thermopolis. Super quiet. Great bathroom and hot water shower. Just lit enough to be safe. 3-3bars T mobile service. Stone drive and sites. Tent sites are bark mulch. Each site has a picnic table and one communal fire ring by bath house and water. No hookups at sites. Next to park with kids playground, baseball fields. Nice neighborhood to walk the dog. Only a few blocks to downtown, great little spot! Thank you for offering the to visitors Lovell!

Was in a pinch for a place to stay while road tripping between the national parks/monuments in WY. After seeing the Medicine Wheel in Bighorn, it was nightfall and a Google search yielded this RV park in Lovell. Was pleasantly surprised to find that it was free, was tent friendly, and had showers.

HOWEVER, my experience was ruined by the fact that a city truck spraying some sort of chemical (assumably to control the INSANE amount of mosquitos) drove right down the road, right in my face. Apparently the town of Lovell still exists in the 1960s where it's okay to spray mass amounts of chemicals into the vicinity of innocent bystanders who are just trying to enjoy their tofu dinner while on a cross country roadtrip.

While the spot is convenient and free, I personally will never recommend or use it again. If you care at all about your health, plan other arrangements when traveling between Bighorn and the...
