Beware!! An unknown breed of dog, likely a rescue named Harvey, attacked our 7 month old Goldendoodle pinning him down. The owner couldn't move quickly enough to stop the attack before our puppy was yelping for help. He screamed not to grab him, so we agonized as we waited for him to arrive (our mistake that will be handled differently next time should we encounter this elsewhere!). The park itself was maintained properly, and rules were posted for owners, if they would actually abide by them.

We recently moved to the area and were pleased to discover such a nice little dog park close to home. So far everyone we have met has been pleasant amd friendly. My small dogs have not had any trouble getting along with the other dogs, even the big ones. Nice clean and well kept little park with a few benches. Lots.of shade. There is a Porta John available for the humans and bags for cleaning up after dogs are always stocked. Must bring your own water as there is none available.

Great gated park to take your dog! It has plenty of fenced in room, doggie bags, water, and toys. Very well maintained.

Nice big space for doggys to play! All the dogs we've met so far have been super nice, good temperament, playful pooches! Park is well kept, most everyone cleans up after their dogs, I've only seen 2 piles that ppl left behind and when i go I typically pick them up to keep it clean. There is no water source but they do have a dog bowl with a connected water chug that they fill daily and they always leave an extra gallon for refilling. There's a port a potty outside the fence for ppl to use while there visiting the park and they clean it out once a week so it's not all nasty. There are also doggy poo bags posted on every tree in the park area and they have about 4 garbage cans which they also change regularly. This is the first dog park ive been to other than the one in my campground so in my opinion it's pretty nice and well kept. Its open April 1-November 30. Hope this review...

The dog park is secluded on a hill off Jefferson Road. The park is pretty quiet, and it is nicely sized. Our dog isn’t much of the playing type, but he likes to go off leash and roam around at his own pace. At first we had several good experiences, but as we continued to go, it became more of a gamble. Some people and/or their dogs just don’t have manners. And it’s hard to tell when you first arrive. Some dogs are agressive, and on several occasions, we had patrons aggressively pull our dog by the collar to get a look at his tags to check them. If you visit, please make sure your dogs are vaccinated and you follow...

My dog was attacked by an unknown breed of dog. The owner didn't know what type of dog his was. Upon entering he said, "If he pins him don't get him off yourself.", which should have been my first warning sign. The dog, Harvey, had mine on its back with its teeth around my dogs neck. The place itself does not have separate areas for large and small dogs as it should. Be careful especially if you're a new dog owner thinking you need to socialize your dog. Mine was nearly killed in front of me. I'll have a tazer for if ever...
