This is my favorite secret spot to frequent on the Main Line so I almost hate to give it away. But this park is amazing and it’s a quick drive right off of 76!! A truly hidden gem. It’s full of winding trails all through the hillside as well as neat history scattered throughout the park. There are multiple locations of old mill ruins dating before the turn of the century back towards the late 1700s! Theres a nice shallow creek at the park’s base which you can wade in for some summer fun. If you’re willing to walk up the creek far enough you can even find small watering holes to swim. There’s even a fenced in dog park as well as off leash locations for registered doggies! So if you love dogs I’m sure you’ll get your fix here! The trails can get steep at the bottom and they’re unpacked so wear proper footing....

It really is a great park however I do not go here anymore. I’ve gone several times but every time I go I see dogs being very disobedient to their owners, many aggressive growls, lots of dog reactive dogs, a few dog aggressive dogs. In the dog park area I’ve seen dogs attack each other in not a playful way. So many of these dogs are being trained by professionals, so you hear by the owners,but they just act horribly. For the safety of my dog who is sweet and gentle I don’t expose her to these dogs anymore. I avoid this park at all cost.
