Here are some great nature parks around Philadelphia where you can bring your furry friends! 🐾 📍 Neshaminy State Park On Leash required. This park is huge and offers plenty of trails. Dogs can also enjoy the beach or even play in the water. It’s perfect for all four seasons! 🌲 📍 Rolling Hill Park This park features a massive dog park. According to park rules, dogs can be off-leash on trails from sunrise to 9:30 am and from 3 pm to 6 pm. During other times, they must be on a leash. There are many trails, and a small stream in the valley where your dog can splash around. 🌊 📍 Brandywine Creek State Park This park is located in Delaware, so it’s a bit of a drive. On Leash required. Layla visited in late January, and the river was frozen, making it super cool to walk on. The area is quite rustic and perfect for getting close to nature. I’m looking forward to visiting again in the summer! 🌳 📍 Wissahickon Valley Park Just a 20-minute drive from downtown Philadelphia, this historic park is a gem. On Leash Required. It has a variety of trails and a small stream where dogs can cool off in the summer. It’s perfect for exploring with your dog. With lots of tree shade, it stays cool even in the summer and is a peaceful place. I didn’t get to explore much last time, but I’m planning to walk the entire park next visit. 🌿 📍 Falls Township Dog Park 🗺️ 9068-9156 Wheatsheaf Rd, Morrisville, PA 19067 This park has two large, well-maintained dog areas with real grass, not artificial turf.
