Penn State Harrisburg offers a quality education on a beautiful self-contained campus. Students can spend anywhere from one year to four years here to complete their bachelor's degree. Several programs are 2 and 2 meaning that you can spend two years at the Harrisburg branch campus and then two years at the main campus in State College. They also offer certification programs like teacher certifications and Master's programs. They offer on campus housing with meal plans as well as off campus housing that is located within walking distance of the campus. The housing is very nice and is suite style often with four people sharing a suite each with their own rooms and sharing two bathrooms between them. There's a living room area and kitchen area. Each individual room has a microwave and refrigerator combo as well as the suite has a washer and dryer in it. Very comfortable seating and each room has a bed, desk, 2 drawer dresser, and closet. Everything is accessible via walking paths and amenities such as the workout room are very nice. The dining hall offers a variety of foods throughout the month and the library is very nice. Sports teams and clubs are available and entertainment programs also are provided....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey're so worried about getting new students money that they put the rest of us on the back burner and are unavailable to help current students navigate major change approvals, financial aid/loans qualifications, granting permission to take online courses. Typical money grabbing scheme by making you sign off on forms saying you're fully responsible for late fees when they don't do their end of filling out the paperwork you need to get into class or apply for loans. This university contributes to gate keeping. If you're not rich you're getting the short end of the stick. I've jumped through all of the hoops in a timely manner. And still facing the run around i.e. "that's not my department, I can't connect you to them. Look it up online." Good luck to everyone just trying to turn their life around to make ends meet. This is oppression at its finest. Education should be free...
